Terms and Conditions

All products & services displayed on this website are sold subject to Shibori P/L Terms and Conditions set out below.

All intellectual property rights including graphics, layout and design of this website including all products together with all logos and trade names depicted on this website belong to Shibori P/L.


We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and details of all our products that appear on the website.
However, due to variations in monitor display, we cannot guarantee that your display of colour and details will be accurate.  
In the case of wallpaper, upholstery fabric or leather we recommend customers order samples before
purchasing goods.
Images online are as accurate as possible to match the product but can differ to those shown.

Every effort is made to ensure that the products we supply correspond as closely as possible to the samples displayed online, but there may be variations as all goods are hand made.
No responsibility can be accepted for these variations, which all add to the unique features of our products including but not limited to the following:
• On fabric the shade may vary slightly from one printing batch to another.
• There is a 3% allowance on fabric alignment.
• All measurements are approximate. Please allow +/- 2 cm variance on sizes stated.

 


Ordering

Our minimum order for fabric is 1.0 linear (approx 137 cm wide) metre, and thereafter we accept orders in 0.1 metre increments.

Once you have purchased your order online using PAYPAL, you will receive an email confirming that the order and payment have been received.

You may also make an order over the phone or via email if preferred.

 Payment may also be made by direct deposit.

Goods paid for by direct deposit will be shipped once we have confirmation that the payment has gone through.

Alterations to orders or order cancellations must be advised in writing via email/fax.
Alterations and cancellations will not be recognized without our emailed/faxed acceptance.
Please contact us if you have not received our written acceptance within 24 hours of advising us of cancellation or alteration.

As we print to order we cannot accept alterations or cancellations after your order has been entered into production.

You are responsible for checking and confirming that you are satisfied that all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements and specifications including measurements, dimensions, product features, access and delivery.

 

 

Custom Orders

Where customers require a custom design service, the copyright of any images or designs provided must be identified. Copyrighted designs or images will be used for guidance only unless written permission for reproduction has been obtained from the copyright holder.

Precise colour matching to colour references supplied by customers is not always possible, and commercial tolerances should be allowed for. Occasionally a shade will not be possible to match due the inherent limitations of CMYK ink sets.

 


Delivery

Orders will normally be dispatched within two weeks of receipt of your order.

Deliveries within Australia will be sent via Australia Post or via courier if otherwise specified.

Every effort is made to quote accurate delivery times.

You will receive advice of unexpected changes to our production time via email.

We regret that we cannot accept responsibility for transit or other delays outside our control.

Delivery advice and courier tracking is emailed to you as soon as orders are dispatched from our warehouse.

Memo samples are delivered by mail unless requested otherwise.

Delivery costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to your order total before check out.

The delivery charge will be shown as a separate item in your shopping cart.

If you have any special delivery instructions please specify during the checkout process.     If, for some reason, there is a delay with delivery of your order we will let you know within 2 working days, and communicate an updated time frame.


International delivery times are not guaranteed and are subject to customs clearance delays.
You will receive an email confirming the dispatch of your order once it has been sent.

 


Risk of Loss

Shibori P/L cannot be responsible for items lost in the post.
All items purchased from Shibori P/L are made pursuant to a shipment contract.
This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
All items can be insured at an additional cost: please specify when ordering.

 Please ensure deliveries are inspected for obvious transit damage.

Claims for damage in transit must be supported by your conditional acceptance of delivery receipt from the courier noting the damage which has occurred.

Where deliveries are made to third parties, it is your responsibility to check that the order is supplied to your satisfaction.

We cannot accept claims for making, installation or replacement charges where correct supply has not been verified before being made up into finished orders.

We strongly advise that a sample is sent to you from your third party for verification when orders are received.

 


Pricing & tax

All prices on our website are in Australian dollars ($AUD) and include 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax).
 
In countries other than Australia or New Zealand, your fabric order may be subject to the customs fees, import duties and taxes of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are the recipient’s responsibility.

 


Returns & Exchanges

Please choose carefully as there is no refund or exchange without prior arrangement, once the order has been processed unless, for some reason, the product is faulty.


We do not consider colour variations in print runs a fault.


For a full refund on faulty goods you need to contact us and return the item to us within 7 days of receiving it.
In this instance the shipping charges will be waived.
We recommend you use registered post or a trackable courier when returning an item, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

 


Amendments to terms and conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions each time you use the website.
