Shibori has been providing schools with unique learning experiences that align with the curriculum for over 12 years.
An excursion to Shibori Studio in Stanmore will give you a chance to step out of the classroom and into a safe small commercial dyeing studio, allow your students to learn new art and craft techniques, and provide practical and exciting applications in business while having fun!
Suitable for groups of up to 25 students, and conveniently located in Sydney’s Inner West, this 90 minutes of fun will see students build creative confidence, learn the skills of textile design, create amazing fabric prints and gain a greater understanding and appreciation for textiles, indigo dye and the design industry.
Everything is provided and Shibori is available to assist with ideas for incorporation into school projects or exhibitions.
