Shibori began creating unique handmade fabrics in 2004. Hand binding and dying silks using self developed techniques based on the Japanese art of resist dying that is “Shibori”. Theses exquisite silks are then hand embellished to make truly unique, timeless fabrics and soft furnishings.

In 2007 Shibori released a range of art based digital and hand screen printed fabrics. Using an extended art background these prints are all begin by hand and later digitised to create repeat patterns for printing. Shibori pride themselves on prints with a difference.
All Shibori fabrics and products are 100% Australian made from 100% natural fibres. Shibori prints are available in a range of base cloths for varied applications.

Shibori bespoke design services many Interior designers and decorators with original textiles or soft furnishing for specific projects.  Working with specific colour combinations and fabrics to create the perfect solution for any environment.  Private projects are also welcome.
Freelance textile design. Designer Pepa Martin works with designers to create the perfect print for any textile application.  From fashion to upholstery Shibori can create a suitable and exciting print. Taking the design from concept right through to production offering priceless knowledge and industry contacts.
